About MEval-PIMA
MEASURE Evaluation PIMA (MEval-PIMA) works to strengthen health systems and improve the quality and use of data in Kenya for the sustainable delivery of quality services.
We support the Government of Kenya’s national health strategic plan to build and strengthen M&E systems in key programs within the Ministry of Health, in collaboration with other public and private sector partners and stakeholders. MEval-PIMA focuses on:
- Building M&E capacity at national and sub-national levels for systematic improvement in data collection and data use to inform policy making;
- Strengthening organizational and institutional capacities to monitor and evaluate health programs and services; and
- Providing technical assistance to decision makers to apply M&E results for more effective and sustainable health programming in Kenya.
Focus areas of MEval-PIMA include malaria surveillance, improving maternal and reproductive health information, child health and safety, community-based health systems, improving civil registration and vital statistics, and strengthening referral systems.
