OVC Program Case Studies
According to a 2006 UNAIDS report, AIDS deaths in sub-Saharan Africa account for 72% of AIDS deaths worldwide. As a result, the number of children who have been orphaned or otherwise made vulnerable by HIV/AIDS is also highest in this region. Despite the influx of programs to address this crisis, very little evidence of their effectiveness is available. To help fill this knowledge gap, MEASURE Evaluation has produced case studies of programs for OVC.
