M&E of Family Planning Programs- 1 Day Module
This module is designed and intended to be used as a 3 hour training session that is delivered as part of a larger M&E workshop on population, health and nutrition topics, including HIV. It is intended to be an introduction to basic concepts in monitoring and evaluation of family planning programs, and should be a first step in encouraging workshop participants to build their individual and organizational capacity to monitor and evaluate their programs.
This training module includes a PowerPoint presentation, readings, and class exercises.
By the end of this training module, participants will be able to:
- Apply basic M&E concepts (frameworks, indicators, etc.) to FP programs.
- Summarize some of the main issues in M&E of FP programs from historical perspective.
- Summarize current issues in FP integration and Quality of Care for monitoring and evaluation.
