Botswana's Gender-Based Violence Referral System Project: Operations Research End Line Report Abstract:

This operations research study evaluated a pilot mobile phone-based referral system for survivors of gender-based violence in Botswana. Through a quasi-experimental design, researchers sought to improve understanding of the process and results of that counttry’s Gender-Based Violence Referral System Project. This report presents results and recommendations related to community perceptions of gender-based violence (GBV), provider perceptions and processing of GBV cases, and the GBV referral system.
