Abstract:

This Spanish language report presents the findings of an in-depth case study carried out in facilities in three departamentos of Guatemala (Quiche, San Marcos, and Totonicapan) to determine whether routine data in maternity registers can be used to monitor and evaluate maternal and neonatal health at the departamento level, and if so, in what ways the register might best be used.
