Child Status Index (CSI) - Field Users' Guide Abstract:

This Field Users' Guide is part of the Child Status Index (CSI) toolkit consisting of a CSI Manual, CSI Rating and Record Forms, a pictorial CSI, a CSI Made Easy booklet and this quick-reference guide for field users of the tool. It is specifically written to serve as a quick reference for frontline staff including volunteers and other field workers who have been trained on and are using the CSI toolkit to gather information about the well-being of children in their care. The Guide presents a brief overview of the domains and factors assessed by the CSI and provides step-by-step instructions on how to use the CSI and the Record Form to gather information on the child's well-being status.
