Dimensions of routine data quality and data management
What you need from assessment setup to analysis
Measuring success and improving the management of health programs worldwide depend on strong monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems that produce good-quality data on program implementation. This tool captures high-priority indicators from HIV and AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria programs and offers a common approach to assessing and improving overall data quality. Having a single tool helps to ensure that standards are harmonized and allows for joint implementation of assessments by partners and national programs. MEASURE Evaluation, funded by the United States Agency for International Development, has also produced an in-depth curriculum, Routine Data Quality Assessment (RDQA) Curriculum Materials, and a training toolkit: Complementing Routine Data with Qualitative Data for Decision Making: Understanding the "Why" Behind Program Data.
