PEPFAR’s Local Capacity Initiative Evaluation in Uganda and Ghana

MEASURE Evaluation will present the mechanisms by which capacity building in policy advocacy supported access to quality HIV services by key populations in Ghana and Uganda. Join us to discuss changes in advocacy capacity and practices of civil society organizations, and how community engagement with HIV providers improved access to HIV services for key populations.

Speakers
Mary Freyder, MPH, LMSW, is a senior technical advisor with the MEASURE Evaluation project and is based at Tulane University. Ms. Freyder is a social worker and a public health expert with 20 years of experience working with communities to improve their health outcomes.
Tory M. Taylor, MPH, is a monitoring and evaluation specialist with MEASURE Evaluation. She serves at Tulane University as director for capacity building initiatives in the Department of Global Community Health and Behavioral Sciences and technical advisor with the Highly Vulnerable Children Research Center at Tulane.
Katherine Andrinopoulos, PhD, is an associate professor at Tulane University. Her research for MEASURE Evaluation focuses on gender, HIV, and key populations.
