10th Annual Global Health Mini-University, Washington DC, October 2010

Each year, USAID and its collaborators contribute to improving the health status and general well being of families across the globe. MEASURE Evaluation will contribute three talks on evaluation methodology and geographic mapping technology.

The Global Health Mini-University, sponsored each year by  the USAID Bureau for Global Health in collaboration with the George Washington University Center for Global Health, is a day-long forum offering over 70 different sessions highlighting evidence-based best practices and state-of-the-art information from a variety of technical areas across the Global Health field.

At the 10th Annual Mini-University on October 8 2010, MEASURE Evaluation staff will make the following presentations:

“How Do We Evaluate That? Evaluation in the Uncontrolled World” at 10:15AM, Sian Curtis and Ilene Speizer

“If You Map It, They Will Come: GIS and Slums” at 10:15AM, Peter Lance

“Geography and Public Health: Using Technology to Strengthen Programs” at 1PM, Andrew Inglis
