Pakistan (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa): HIS Indicators

Pakistan has gone through devolution of its services-related public sectors, including the health sector, with the 18th amendment to its constitution effective June 28, 2011. The Federal Ministry of Health (MoH) has been dissolved and now the overall responsibility for health services policy direction and planning has been devolved to the provinces. Government responsibility for health aid coordination is now under the Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination.

As of August 2019, we had located 20 of the 30 indicators for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Please see the table below for more details on each indicator.

Master facility list with unique IDs of public sector facilities is available. The data is reported through the DHIS from all primary and secondary care facilities. District head quarter hospitals (DHQHs) also report through the DHIS. Currently, tertiary level facilities are not part of the DHIS.
